Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. Shepherd collects your email when you sign in with Apple to create and manage your account — signing in is optional. If you're signed in, we store your notes, highlights, and bookmarks so they sync across your devices. Conversations from the retired AI chat remain stored so you can read them in your archive. All notes and conversations are encrypted.

Photos you use as verse-image backgrounds never leave your device. When you generate an AI verse image, only the verse reference and the style you chose are sent to our servers — nothing else. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab in the app. We do not share your personal information or data with third parties, we show no ads, and we do no tracking.
